Aube respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app processes, why, and what your rights are.

DATA WE PROCESS
- Identity: your first name (optional) and email (optional), which you enter at sign-in.
- Wellness content: your moods, journal entries, breathing sessions, routine and preferences.
- Conversations: the messages you write to Aube.
Aube collects no location data, no advertising identifier, and uses no third-party trackers for marketing.
LOCAL STORAGE ON YOUR DEVICE
Your first name, email, moods, journal, breathing sessions, routine and preferences are stored only on your device (AsyncStorage). They are not shared with any third party, with the sole exception of the activity summary described below, which is required for the AI guide's replies.
MESSAGES SENT TO AUBE
To generate the AI guide's reply, the messages you write are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server (hosted on Railway), which relays them to Anthropic's Claude API. These messages are not retained on our server beyond the time needed to generate the response. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy policy.
So that Aube can support you with up-to-date information, an encrypted summary of your activity is attached to your messages: today's mood and the 7-day trend, your routine progress, the number and length of your breathing sessions, the number of journal entries and the emotions you ticked. The TEXT of your journal entries is never transmitted: it stays solely on your device.
HOSTING AND PROCESSORS
- Application server: Railway Corp. (USA).
- AI processing: Anthropic PBC (USA).
Data may therefore be processed outside the European Union, with appropriate contractual safeguards.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
Data is processed for the sole purpose of providing the wellness service (AI guide, mood tracking, journal, breathing). The legal basis is your consent and performance of the service you request.
DATA RETENTION
Local data is kept as long as you use the app. It is erased when you sign out or uninstall the app. Chat messages are not retained after the response is generated.
YOUR RIGHTS — GDPR (Europe)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): delete your data.
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a readable format (see "Export my data" in the app).
- Right to object and to restrict processing.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Because your data is stored locally, you can delete it immediately by signing out or uninstalling the app. For any request: leneva@apps-rg.com
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: the CNIL, www.cnil.fr).
YOUR RIGHTS — CCPA / CPRA (California)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA grants you the following rights:
- Right to know: which categories of personal information are collected, why, and with whom they are shared.
- Right to delete: request erasure of your personal information.
- Right to correct: fix inaccurate personal information.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination: exercising your rights never results in degraded service or a different price.
WE DO NOT SELL OR SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Aube does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We have not sold or shared any personal information in the preceding 12 months. No "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism is therefore required, because no such sale or sharing takes place.
Categories collected (CCPA terminology): identifiers (first name, email — both optional) and the content of electronic communications (your messages to the AI guide). No sensitive personal information is used to infer characteristics. No geolocation data and no advertising identifiers are collected.
To exercise your CCPA rights: leneva@apps-rg.com. We respond within 45 days. An authorised agent may act on your behalf with proof of authorisation.
SECURITY
Communications with our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Your keys and passwords are never stored in plaintext in the app.
MINORS
Aube is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.

CHANGES
This policy may be updated. Any change will be indicated in the app.
